The sequel, which is still in the planning stages, is apparently entering production with Electronic Arts and Chinese media companies China Movie Channel Program Center, Jiaflix Enterprises, and 1905 Pictures. The movie was not very well-received, though it was quite successful at the box office, generating $203 million against a $66 million budget. According to a report today from Hollywood news publication Variety, a sequel to 2014's Need for Speed movie starring Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul is revving up.
